INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Crews were out in full force on Saturday morning, cleaning up around Indianapolis as part of the Great Indy Clean-up.

Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. partnered up with the city to clean-up in neighborhoods near the city’s center and on the near east side. Large clean-ups happened all over the city in four different quadrants. The event aims to achieve litter abatement through neighborhood-driven initiatives, a release said.

Keep Indianapolis Beautiful is working with the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services, the Department of Public Works and IMPD to coordinate with neighborhood groups to organize cleanup efforts from April through October.
