Arrest made in murder of woman found in wooden chest

LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) – Lawrence Police have made an arrest in connection with the March 23 murder of a woman who was found inside a wooden chest.

James Wade, 60 was arrested and faces a preliminary charge of murder.

The body of 24-year old Jazmine Trammell was found inside a chest next to a dumpster in the Maison Gardens apartment complex.

Police said that this remains an active investigation.
