AURORA, Ind. (WKRC) — The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office confirms that 2-year-old twin girls who were reported missing Tuesday evening are dead.
Emergency personnel were called to the area of Elm Circle at Dutch Hollow Road in Aurora, Indiana, about 7 p.m.
Initially crews thought the toddlers may be in the woods. They were found a short time later in a neighbor’s tarp-covered pool.
Both were taken to Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg where they were pronounced dead.
The girls’ names are not being released yet. More information is expected Wednesday morning.
