City gears up for Indy Eleven’s first game

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indy Eleven will kick off their first season Saturday night, and the game is sold out.

There was a rally held for the team downtown on Friday. The Indy Eleven will play the Carolina RailHawks at home at IUPUI’s Carroll Stadium. The Eleven have played several pre-season games over the past few weeks. The first exhibition game brought 600 fans.

The team announced on Friday that the inaugural game was sold out. More than 11,000 fans will pack the stadium.

If you can’t make it you can watch the game on MyINDY-TV 23—your home for the Indy Eleven. All of the home games will be aired live starting with Saturday’s home opener that starts at 7:30 p.m.
