INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – If you were downtown on Monument Circle Saturday afternoon you may have witnessed the first ever flash mob – dog style.

The Humane Society of Indianapolis put on the Flash Dog event. The dancers consisted of people ages two to 60 years old and their dogs.

Organizers put on the event to remind people about the annual Mutt Strut, Saturday April 26.

Mutt Strut is the Humane Society’s largest fundraiser, where participants and their four-legged friends get to spend some time at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

This year’s goal is to raise $500,000. WISH-TV is once again a proud sponsor of this year’s Mutt Strut. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
