1 dead, 1 injured after fight on northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person is dead and another hurt after a fight on the northeast side.

According to an IMPD press release, officers were called to the 3600 block of East 25th Street just after 4 a.m. Saturday in reference to a disturbance and shooting.

When officers arrived to the motorcycle club Capital Punishment, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has been identified as 47-year-old Trent Wilson.

Officers then found a second man with lacerations to the head and neck. He was taken to Eskenazi Health in serious condition.

Witnesses say a fight inside the club led to shots being fired in a parking lot shortly after the crowd exited.
