Body found in Henry County identified

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The body of a man that was found near a creek Sunday evening in Henry County has been identified.

According to an Indiana State Police press release, a passerby discovered the body walking near Montgomery Creek just off of Grant City Road, south of Grant City. An autopsy identified the man as 23-year-old Zackery D. Soots of Indianapolis.

Officials say this case is now being investigated as a homicide and are seeking the public’s help.
