Man uses billboard in hopes of finding missing dog

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One man is going to great lengths to find a dog he claims was stolen from him last year.

He spent nearly $2,000 on a mobile billboard. His poodle–Boomer–disappeared last November near his home at Sherman Avenue and 25th Street.

Since then, he’s posted signs and alerts trying to find the dog. He says he also filed a report with IMPD.

He hopes the mobile billboard will not only catch some eyes, but help lead him to his missing best friend.

The family is offering a $1,500 reward for Boomer’s return. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
