Child hit by stray bullet on city’s southeast side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) –  Police say a child was hit by a stray bullet late Friday night on the city’s southeast side.

Police dispatchers with IMPD say it happened at a home in the 2100 block of East Lexington Avenue just before midnight.

Police say the child was grazed by the bullet.
