Missing man with autism located on near north side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A 23-year-old man with autism who went missing Saturday has been located, fire officials confirm.

Crews in Indianapolis said Saturday evening were looking for Jerome Parks, who had been last seen on the northwest side of the city, near 56th and Guion.

Authorities had set up a command post in the 5100 block of Guion Road for their search.

The Indianapolis Fire Department, Wayne Township Fire Department, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Pike Township Fire Department and Hamilton County K-9s were involved in the search.

The Wayne Township Fire Department tweeted around 7:30 p.m. that Parks had been located near 16th and Senate Boulevard.
