Flight lands safely at IND after report of cracked windshield

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A flight on its way to San Francisco made an emergency landing in Indianapolis on Saturday after it reported a cracked windshield.

Indianapolis International Airport spokesperson Carlo Bertolini says the United Airlines flight, which departed from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City, reported the issue and diverted to IND.

Bertolini said the aircraft, a Boeing 757, landed safely and taxied to a gate around 2:25 p.m. with 146 people on board.
