Indy Eleven’s second game in the books

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – It was another sell out at the Indy Eleven game on Saturday and fans seemed to be happier with the experience.

The new team made some changes for their second game.

Fans complained about details like parking and long lines after the first game. So for the second game the team said it doubled the number of vendors in the stands, and added some in places that will only sell beer.

“It’s a lot better. I got a beer in like a minute. Definitely worth it. I spent more money than I would last time,” one Indy Eleven fan said.

“People are really having a good time, and they’re not missing the game,” Peter Wilt, Indy Eleven’s President and General Manager said. “We heard from a lot of people last week who missed some significant portions of the game while waiting in line. This week the lines are moving quickly, they’re back in their seats and they’re enjoying the game.”

The team also tweaked the stadium’s new audio system to make sure everyone can hear.

The Eleven played the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Saturday. The final score was 1-1.
