Animal Care and Control coordinator resigns

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The coordinator for Indianapolis Animal Care and Control has resigned, city officials confirmed Monday afternoon.

Dan Shackle stepped down from the leadership role. The city named Spencer Moore the interim coordinator.

Department of Public Safety officials said they are looking for Shackle’s replacement. He plans to return to practicing law.
