Bikeshare program set to begin in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) Starting Tuesday there will be a new way to get around the Circle City.

The Pacers Bikeshare program starts up in the morning. They’re putting the bikes between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Monday, but you won’t be able to used them until Tuesday.

The 25 stations will house 10 bikes each along or near the Cultural Trail downtown. You can buy a 24-hour pass for $8 or get an annual members card for $80, but your trips are limited to 30 minutes each. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
