MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) – A Muncie woman was arrested after police made a traffic stop for littering.

Around 4:30 p.m. Monday, police observed a westbound car stopped at the 24th Street and Madison intersection. When police drove up to the intersection, they saw the front seat passenger in the parked car throw a cup out the window.

Officers then pulled over the car after they started driving away.

Further investigation revealed the passenger who had littered, 32-year-old Cindy Moore, was wanted out of Muncie City Court for failure to appear, and also had a Randolph County warrant for check deception, a Class A misdemeanor.

She was later booked in the Delaware County Jail.
