Update: Frankton school all-clear after bomb threat

Classroom school

FRANKTON, Ind. (WISH) — Officials with the Madison County Sheriff’s Department say the all-clear has been given at Frankton Jr./Sr. High School.

A bomb threat written in a bathroom caused the evacuation of Frankton Jr./Sr. High School Tuesday morning, 24-Hour News 8 news partner The Herald Bulletin reports.

The school system’s superintendent told the newspaper a message on a bathroom wall said there was a bomb inside the school. Delaware County bomb experts were called to the school to investigate.

About 700 students were evacuated from the school, and officials say all students are now back in their classrooms.
