Getting inspired to perspire

America suffers from an inactivity pandemic which is resulting in an obesity crisis and one of the roots of this problem is that P.E. is not offered every day to American children.

This lack of national fitness is affecting national health care costs and our ability to recruit a fit military but things are beginning to change as Chicago Public Schools will institute daily PE beginning this fall and the Michigan legislature is considering upgrading PE for elementary and middle school students.Mike May, PHIT America introdices you to some new sports and fitness products that might INSPIRE people to PERSPIRE and get ACTIVE!

1.) The Burn Machine – It’s a handheld fitness accessory which combines hand weights with the speed bag workout that boxers use. It’s easy to demonstrate. It can be used for cardio-intensive workouts or building muscle.
