New Fishers destination park to open in fall

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) – A new year-round, 60-acre destination park will open in Fishers this fall.

Officials broke ground Tuesday at 101st Street and Cyntheanne Road. The facility will include a 50-foot sledding hill, more than a mile of walking trails, a 2-mile progressive mountain bike course, a fishing pond and tree houses.

The park doesn’t yet have a name. Fishers residents will be able to submit their ideas later this summer. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
