Police: 3 injured after shooting on northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police in Indianapolis are investigating a shooting that injured three people on the northeast side.

Police were dispatched at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to the 2800 block of N. Dearborn St. on a report of two people shot.

Upon arrival, police found two males with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to Eskenazi Health in stable condition.

Dispatch later advised police that a third male subject had been dropped off at Community East Hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. It was then confirmed that this subject was also shot in the same location as the others.

Two homes also sustained damage from the gunshots near where the shooting occurred.
