Rebecca Sperry released from hospital


NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – A woman seriously injured in a crash in Madison County last month, was released from the hospital.

Rebecca Sperry had to have an emergency C-section after she and her husband, Jesse, were rear-ended along State Road 32 near Lapel. Jesse died at the scene.

According to Sperry’s father, John Keefe, Rebecca was released from a hospital in Noblesville Tuesday afternoon.

Rebecca and her daughter, Autumn, were reunited April 15, after Autumn spent several days at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health.

The man behind the wheel of the vehicle that hit Sperry’s car, was James Foutch, an Edgewood Police Officer who was off-duty at the time.  Foutch has been charged with operating while intoxicated and is on unpaid suspension from the department.
