NRA Convention kicks off in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The 2014 NRA Convention kicked off in Indianapolis on Friday. Roughly 70,000 people are expected to attend the three-day convention over the weekend.

Inside the downtown convention center is nine acres of company booths marketing everything from the latest gun technology, to conceal carry holders for runners, bullets, and much more.

NRA President, Wayne LaPierre lead an afternoon seminar at Lucas Oil Stadium. Among the speakers following LaPierre were Governor Mike Pence, Governor Bobby Jindal, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, US Senator Marco Rubio, Former US Senator Rick Santorum, and US Senator Dan Coats.

  • Saturday, April 26, 2014 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 27, 2014 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
