FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) – A piece of history is making its way through Indiana–and you have the chance to take a ride on it.

David Kloke is working to rebuild a Civil War-era train–a replica of the Lincoln Funeral car that will travel through Indiana next year for the 150th anniversary of President Lincoln’s final journey.

But, you can get a sneak peek–and a ride–this weekend. The train’s engine is ready to pull passengers now.

You can ride in an open-air car, or inside an historic car built in 1898 for the co-founder of Standard Oil Company.

A portion of the ticket sales will help Kloke finish the Funeral Car train that will eventually travel the same path Lincoln’s funeral train travelled from Washington, D.C. to Springfield, Illinois.
