ANDERSON, Ind. (Herald Bulletin) – A woman wanted by two police agencies led Madison County deputies on a short vehicle pursuit Friday morning.

Police say the chase started at 6 a.m. when a deputy tried to make a traffic stop on a woman’s vehicle at 60th Street and Madison Avenue. The car then took off.

The pursuit ended with 30-year-old Jill Shallenberger’s vehicle in a yard near 60th Street and Ridge Road.

She was taken to the Madison County Jail and faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and resisting law enforcement–both felonies–and driving while suspended.

Shallenberger was also wanted out of Marion City Court on charges of false informing and driving while suspended, and Grant County on a charge of resisting arrest, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner The Herald Bulletin reports.
