Indy Eleven falls in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WISH) – The Indy Eleven suffered their first loss in franchise history Saturday night falling 3-2 to the Strikers in Fort Lauderdale.

Jose Kleberson converted a penalty kick to draw the match even at 1-1 in the 26th minute.

The Strikers answered back in the second half as Fafà Picault and Marius Ebbers scored four minutes apart.

Erick Norales sent in a Mike Ambersley cross in stoppage time, but the referee blew the final whistle on the restart to end the rally.

The Eleven are back on the road next Saturday to take on the NASL leading Minnesota United.
