Police need help identifying homicide victim

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man found shot to death in an alley this week.

Detectives released a sketch on Friday in hopes of identifying the man found shot Wednesday, April 23 in an alley south of the 1000 block of West 34th Street around 12:30 a.m.

The man is described as a white male, in his 40s, with brown/gray hair, 5 foot 11 inches tall and 120 pounds. He was wearing a green GAP sweatshirt, blue shirt underneath, black shorts with a gray pinstripe, black socks, and a black rubber K-Swiss shoe on his left foot.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
