Columbus police chief to retire, take new job

COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) — Columbus Police Chief Jason Maddix plans to retire soon to take another job.

According to the city, Maddix plans to take a position with Cummins.

Adminitrative Capt. Jon Rohde will be Maddix’s replacement. Columbus Mayor Kristen Brown selected him.
