Teens arrested following heroin sales investigation

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Hamilton County say they have arrested two teenagers following an investigation into the dealing of heroin.

According to a release, on Wednesday members of the Hamilton/Boone County Drug Task Force arrested 19-year-old Austin Swenson of Noblesville and 18-year-old David Vu of Indianapolis.

Police say both men were apprehended on Interstate 69 in Fishers following a two-month long investigation into the sale of heroin in Hamilton County.

Swenson and Vu were both taken to the Hamilton County Jail. Swenson was preliminarily charged with two counts of dealing heroin, a Class B felony and three counts of possession of heroin, a Class D felony. Vu has been preliminarily charged with one count of possession of syringe, a Class D felony, and one count possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.

Authorities with the Drug Task Force say they’re aggressively pursuing people involved in illicit opiate drug use and sales in Hamilton and Boone counties.
