GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH)—Three people were taken to area hospitals following a crash on U.S. 40 in Greenfield Friday evening.
Authorities say 33 year old Julie Lee Ann Minton of Greenfield was eastbound on U.S. 40 when she drifted across the center line and struck a westbound truck driven by Paris Norton of Indianapolis. Norton’s truck spun and then rolled coming to rest on the north side of the road. Minton’s car continued along U.S. 40 and struck another car driven by 84 year old David Roark of Charlottesville, Indiana.
Roark’s vehicle came to rest facing westbound along the roadway.
Another motorist, 29 year old Brett Molinder of Greenfield, was also traveling westbound at the same time. Molinder’s car was hit by debris from the first crash. Molinder was not hurt.
Investigators believe Minton suffered a medical condition just before the accidents occurred.
Minton, Norton, and Roark were all taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
