Pacers prepare for Round 2 against Wizards

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Call it a fresh start.

After a tougher than expected first-round playoff series with Atlanta, the Pacers focus quickly shifts to Washington.

Game 1 against tips Monday night at the Fieldhouse, and that’s where the Pacers spent some of their Sunday, not only on the court, but more importantly, watching film, looking to see where they can exploit the impressive Wizards.

Coach Frank Vogel says since the Wizards are a more traditional team, so he’ll go back to his usual rotations. Scola, Turner and Hibbert getting their normal minutes. Little time for the Pacers to get rejuvenated Too.

“We can actually go back to the same way we played with our same rotations,” said George Hill. “Things like that but, I’m happy to be a part of it and it’s going to be a great ride.”

“We feel good,” said David West. “Again, the fact that we only got a day to prepare is OK, we still feel the energy from the game, and it’s going to be a completely different ballgame, a completely different challenge.”
