16-year-old arrested in connection to armed robbery

WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (MONTICELLO HERALD JOURNAL) – A 16-year-old was arrested on Thursday in connection with an armed robbery at the Lakes Federal Credit Union on May 2, according to 24-Hour News 8’s partner The Monticello Herald Journal. 

Police said a search warrant was executed at a home in White County. A large amount of money was found, along with other items police believe were connected to the armed robbery.

Monticello Police Department Chief Randy Soliday said Thursday that until the suspect goes to court, no further information will be released.

The Monticello Police Department, White County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police and White County Prosecutors Office assisted with the investigation.
