ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) — Anderson firefighters were sent to Advanced Magnesium Allows Corp., known as AMACOR, Saturday morning for a fire outside the facility in a pit.

An employee who has been with the company for 13 years reported the fire after workers used salt to initially fight the fire themselves. Workers are trained to handle fire emergencies.

Anderson firefighters were still smothering flames as of 11 a.m.
