LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Lafayette Police said they have arrested two juveniles in connection with multiple home burglaries in the Columbian Park neighborhood.

Lafayette Police Sgt. Jay Rosen said officers received a call about another home burglary around 6:45 p.m. Friday. Officers arrived to the home in the 300 block of South 31st Street and found two juvenile males. Police said one was wearing a backpack.

After further investigation, officers discovered the two juvenile suspects had committed at least eight burglaries, dating back to April 25.

Police said these burglary arrests would not have been possible without the help from the residents in the Columbian Park neighborhood working together with the Lafayette Police Department.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Lafayette Police Department or the WeTip Hotline.
