JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Grief counselors will be available to Center Grove students this week after the death of a teen over the weekend.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says Sunday morning deputies were called to a home in a Greenwood subdivision on the report of an unconscious person.

Emergency personnel arrived and pronounced the 16-year-old high school student dead at the scene. Investigators say an autopsy will be performed to determine a cause of death. The sheriff’s office says there were no signs of trauma on the teen’s body.

Investigators say two juveniles were in the home at the time and were being interviewed Sunday afternoon. No adults were present in the residence.
