Bicyclist improving following Westfield crash

WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) – Police say a woman who was hit by an SUV while she was riding her bicycle is now in stable condition.

According to officials, 41-year-old Rachel Dannenberg, of Westfield, was riding her bike at 159th Street and Towne Road just after 8 p.m. Monday.

Emergency crews got a call that a bicyclist had been struck at the intersection by an SUV.

The accident is still under investigation.
