INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Riley Hospital for Children hosted a special race-themed party on Tuesday night for its patients.
IndyCar drivers and Indy 500 festival princesses were at the event.
A dad who has a son battling a liver infection said the event gives kids something to look forward to.
“He loves race cars, he’s been here taking pictures with Turbo, so he’s having a good time. They’re making the stay very comfortable for him,” Michael Spear said.
The kids got a chance to make crafts, play games and take part in the month of May excitement in Indianapolis.
