Flags to be flown at half-staff to honor law enforcement

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – In honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day flags should be flown at half-staff on Thursday.

Gov. Mike Pence is directing that all businesses, residents and state facilities lower their flags to recognize the brave men and women in law enforcement in Indiana and the nation.

President Obama signed a proclamation that flags nationwide should be flown at half-staff on Thursday from sunrise until sunset.
