Man hit by train hospitalized for minor injuries

JONESBORO, Ind (WISH) – A 76-year-old man is recovering after he was hit by a train in Jonesboro.

Gerald Hutte was trying to cross a rail road track when a train came around a curve. Hutte was in the middle of the tracks.

The conductor tried to stop the train, but hit Hutte.

Hutte suffered minor injuries from the incident. He is being treated at Marion General Hospital. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
