COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – A neighborhood watch program tip led to the arrest of a Columbus man on Wednesday evening, according to 24-Hour News 8’s news partners, The Republic.
Tipsters said lots of vehicles and people would come and go from the house, located at 1219 Franklin Street in Columbus.
Columbus Police Department spokesman Lt. Matt Myers said a SWAT team executed the search warrant at the home shortly before 6 p.m.
Officers found drug paraphernalia and marijuana in plain view, and a search also uncovered psychedelic mushrooms, LSD and cash.
At least 10 pounds of marijuana was found, along with substantial amounts of the mushrooms and LSD, according to Myers.
Johnny J. Sharpe Jr., 33, was arrested at the scene. Sharpe is facing two counts of dealing in a Schedule I controlled substance, dealing in marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.
