IMPD officers make possible homicide arrest


INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Officers with Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department tracked down a suspect that might be wanted for a homicide, police dispatchers said.

Around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, an officer noticed a vehicle near Interstate 65 and Lafayette Road. After about 10 minutes, officers had the suspect in custody. Two other people in the vehicle were released.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene.

Police didn’t immediately say what murder the suspect was wanted for.
