INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Northbound Interstate 65 was shut down Thursday morning on the northwest side of Indianapolis after a crash, Indiana State Police officials said.
The details of what led up to the crash weren’t immediately known, but two were people injured.
Although Indiana State Police at the Indianapolis Post originally said road rage may have been involved, police at the scene of the crash told 24-Hour News 8 that road rage was not a factor.
Fire trucks parked across I-65 had all northbound lanes closed as of 10:15 a.m., but traffic has since been able to get through.
One person suffered shoulder pain and the other reported head pain.
The incident was near the 125-mile marker, which is at 71st Street.
