Indy doctor accused of dealing drugs

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indianapolis doctor has been charged in a case involving the Drug Enforcement Administration under accusations that he was dealing narcotics.

Dr. Robert C. Ash turned himself in after the warrant out of Hamilton County was issued. The warrant was for 16 counts of dealing a narcotic drug and seven counts of dealing a schedule IV controlled substance.

A team of police agencies has been investigating Dr. Ash since 2013.

He’s scheduled to appear in court on May 23.
