Mark Cuban to wave green flag at Indy 500

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced on Monday that Dallas Mavericks owner and Indiana University alumnus Mark Cuban will be the honorary starter of the 98th Running of the Indianapolis 500.

Cuban will wave the green flag at this Sunday’s race, which starts at noon. Cuban said he’s excited to return to Indiana to not only attend, but take part in the historic race.
