Air traffic control tower briefly evacuated after smoke reported

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The air traffic control tower at the Indianapolis International Airport was briefly evacuated Tuesday morning after smoke was reported.

Airport officials say following the report of smoke, the Airport Fire Department responded to the scene. The tower was evacuated for a short period of time.

Officials say there was no actual fire located.
