INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – IUPUI received a big gift that will let students use the same technology as software companies worldwide.
The university announced a $538 million grant from Siemens PLM Software on Tuesday. The School of Engineering and Technology will use the money to purchase the Siemens PLM Software for their classrooms.
IUPUI Chancellor Charles R. Bantz thanked Siemens for their commitment to help students advance in the classroom.
Graduates with this type of software training are highly recruited candidates for advanced technology jobs, according to IUPUI.
