According to police, Louis T. Sitter, 49, of Greenwood, was driving southbound on Saltcreek Road, south of Brown Hill Road, when he lost control. Police said Sitter and his motorcyclist slid left of the centerline and underneath a John Deere Motor Grader that was driving northbound on Saltcreek Road.
The Brown County Highway Department tractor was driven by John Rodgers, 37, of Morgantown. Police said Rodgers tried to stop, but could not avoid running over the motorcycle and Sitter.
Rodgers was not injured in the crash.
