Speedway, Ind. (WISH) – A pre-race ceremony tradition honoring the United States military will also feature a special four plane flyover.

Military members will march in uniform to “Taps” down the front straightaway on Sunday. At the end of the national anthem, four L-39 Albatros will fly over the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the pre-race flyover in honor of United States air power.

Fans can also enjoy Indianapolis 500 legend Jim Nabors. He will sing “Back Home Again in Indiana” for the 35th and final time on Sunday.
