Police looking for Village Pantry armed robbery suspect

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) – Police are searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery on Sunday.

Around 1:40 a.m. the Lafayette Police Department was dispatched to the Village Pantry at 1920 Main Street for an armed robbery.

The suspect entered the store with a gun in his hand. He demanded money and cigarettes from the cashier.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the Village Pantry. No one was injured during the crime.
