Suspect barricades himself in home after stabbing

EDINBURGH, Ind. (WISH) – A SWAT team was called out to investigate after a man barricaded himself inside a home in Johnson County Tuesday night.

Police say a man was stabbed in the 200 block of North Lincoln Street. The injury was a result of a possible assault.

Police believed that Anthony Lee Weber was responsible for the stabbing. Weber left the scene and barricaded himself in a house in the 200 block of Blue River Drive.

Weber refused to speak with officers. The Johnson County SWAT team entered the home after trying to get Weber to open the door.

Just before 9 p.m. police took Anthony Lee Weber into custody.
