Two men dead after north side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two men are dead after a shooting on the near north side of Indianapolis Thursday afternoon.

Detectives believe the two victims were shot in an alley east of 3100 North Graceland, near 32nd Street around 1:45 p.m.

After they were shot, the driver headed south in the alley to W. 30th Street, then north on Graceland Avenue before crashing into a tree.

According to police, the passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver was taken to Methodist Hospital in critical condition. He later died at the hospital, according to police.

Detectives are still investigating and looking for potential witnesses, according to Bailey.

No suspects have been identified as of Thursday afternoon.
