Pence celebrating Trails Day with mile walk

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Gov. Mike Pence will celebrate the national Trails Day with a mile-long walk with supporters and volunteers.

Pence and members of the state’s Bicentennial Commission will dedicate the Speedway Trail Corridor and later lead attendees at the June 6 ceremony on a walk.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources announced Thursday that the national observance of Trail Days is on June 7 this year.
